Abstract:
Nicolae.
Our article aims to introduce into the scientific circuit the documents issued during the second reign of Alexandru Suțu from Wallachia found in the archival heritage of the Bucharest Municipality Museum. Some of these documents, dated chronologically between 1818 and 1821, drawn up on folio or difolio paper, contain copies in a significant proportion and present the proof of authenticity through the royal seal and the autograph signature of the lord Alexandru Suțu.
The documents that we present in our material help us reconstruct the framework of daily life in the city of the legendary Bucur the shepherd and in the interior of the state between the Carpathians and the Danube. Thus, we learn that the ruler ordered both the investigation of some causes or complaints, as well as the performance of some construction works in Bucharest. Attention is drawn to a patent issued by the Austrian agency in Wallachia for a certain Moise, a Jewish Jew, originally from Galicia, who dealt with trade in the Sf. Nicolae Neighborhood.
